Alisha & Brian
It all started on a bus: the Muni #41 bus in San Francisco, to be exact. Both Midwest natives, Alisha (or Ali) and Brian lived a block away from each other in San Francisco’s quaint neighborhood of Russian Hill. That fateful morning, Brian spotted Ali and decided to sit next to her on the bus. Halfway through the commute—on a sardine-packed bus—he mustered up the courage to spark a conversation. A simple Midwestern greeting of “Hello” was the beginning of this San Francisco love story. It was a no-brainer that they would get married at one of Napa Valley’s oldest vineyards: Beaulieu Garden. The secluded estate—originally purchased by French winemaker, Georges de Latour—is marked by a half-mile long gravel path lined by the shade of sycamore trees that lead to expertly manicured lawns, sunken gardens, and sparkling fountains. Ali and Brian enlisted the wedding planning expertise of Stacy McCain to help them design their romantic Parisian garden celebration that was both timeless and elegant with touches of soft ivory, champagne, and blush hues offset by antique brass and charcoal grey tones. “We worked closely with Stacy to source items that stayed true to the mid-century French-inspired design of the garden, including antique tufted sofas and a vintage typewriter from One True Love Vintage and antique-inspired lan-terns from Theoni Collection,” notes Ali.
The natural linen deckle edge paper invitation suite with handwritten modern calligraphy set the tone for the Parisian-inspired celebration.
